| Artist statement
These drawings are explorations of the terrain where Spirit meets play. Creating them gives me great joy and sharing them is a means of circulating the Light out of which they came. For me, drawing is a meditation and a devotional practice. As I work, my intention is to reveal what the drawing wants to be and, toward that end, I often ask the drawing to guide me. I like to think of this process as a collaboration with Spirit. It's a lot of fun. As I considered titles for these eight drawings, they seemed to express chakra energy in a natural, yet personal way. I hope you enjoy these offerings and they, in some way, inspire your own Divine expression. |
